Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a syndrome involving widespread pain of the body and exhaustion, but also involves difficulty sleeping. It is one of the most common muscle ailments, resulting in stiffness and soreness. While pain is the primary symptom experienced among those with fibromyalgia, there is no apparent tissue inflammation. Instead, it would seem that those with the disease have increased physical sensitivity to stimuli. The causes behind fibromyalgia are still unclear. It most commonly affects women between the ages of 35 and 55. Healthy lifestyle changes and prescription medications can be utilized to treat fibromyalgia.
