Dental health

Dental health involves good oral hygiene. One should brush their teeth, floss, and regularly visit a dentist to keep their teeth clean and healthy. Poor oral hygiene can lead to the formation of plaque, a mucousy bacterial substance, on one's teeth. An excess buildup of plaque can lead to cavities, which can result in discomfort and/or pain. Gingivitis can also result from poor dental health, where the gums are inflamed and become swollen and sore.
