New Contraceptive Added to Prescription List in October

Prescription List The birth control prescription list will add a new contraceptive as soon as October 2010. The FDA has approved Beyaz, a new oral contraceptive manufactured by Bayer Health Pharmaceutical, the producer of the Yaz oral contraceptive. Beyaz uses the following active ingredients: drospirenone / ethinyl estradiol / levomefolate calcium tablets.
